Kate’s Intros

Kate ONZnBack Intro:

Kate has worked as an RN for 30+ years.  Prior to her years as a Public Health Nurse, Kate worked in the Operating Room in both Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery specialities.  She suffered a back injury in 1991, which shaped both her life and career.  After her ONZi surgery in 2018, and resuming an active, healthy life, she knew her goal was to assist others in pain.

Kate NeuU Intro:

Have you ever experienced overwhelm, complete, and utter overwhelm?

BAZINGA! Me too!

As for most, my life began to spiral in 2020, with the arrival of COVID.  As an R.N. working in Public Health, with a specialty in Infectious Diseases, I did what it took to get through those long grueling COVID workdays. Don’t get me wrong, there were worse places to work during COVID, but this was still rough.  In the beginning, I marvelled at how well I was handling COVID, but as the years dragged on, it eventually dragged me down with it!  Granted, I was also struggling with debilitating pain through it all, from a severely degenerative cervical spine.

Fast forward to 2022 – the world begins to open slowly, and I now undergo highly successful surgery to correct my spinal condition, however, it is followed by a very challenging and slow rehab journey.  COVID has left me physically, mentally, and emotionally fragile, so my resiliency, post-surgery, is low.   Six weeks post-op my father’s (My ROCK) health deteriorated, and we lost him ten, short days later.   My “world” had given way beneath me – I hadn’t the strength to go on.  And then, as if the road was not heavy enough, six weeks after the loss of my father I lost my fur baby/heart dog.  They say we have one “heart dog” in this lifetime, and she was mine.

Feeling numb, lost, angry, lacking sleep, dealing with anxiety, and in both physical and emotional pain – I hadn’t the capacity for anything more.

Thankfully, I stumbled upon MIND BODY medicine.  Yes, I admit, I was a huge skeptic, but I knew I had to explore and determine for myself if it was right for me.  Working one-on-one with a MIND BODY practitioner I was blown away with the results.  It was then that I knew I not only wanted to help myself with these tools but that I needed to assist others experiencing similar physical and emotional pain.  I have since been certified as a MIND BODY practitioner with NLP, TLT and CHt designations, and in May 2024, I will complete the Master Practitioner designation.

MIND BODY medicine can help you too!
